The colour of this is absolutely stunning these are a good even colour light to mid-range iridescent green with a hint of yellow pink. Strung part on cotton and part on original sinew 66 inches (1675 mm) total length, it would benefit from being re-strung, but I am hesitant to do so because of the original sinew (probably made from Kangaroo sinew) which would imply to me a much earlier age. Approximately 500 shells averaging 12-15 mm in length. There are about 20 shells that are damaged. Weight is approximately 98.5 grams. These are packed in acid free tissue paper, this in turn put in to bubble rap, then placed in a sturdy cardboard box before shipping. I have scouts looking for these shell mairreener, I purchase when I see them. I adore these hard to find, beautiful, light weight shells. If you have any Palawa shells for sale, or if you are looking for something very specific please contact me.
